How to score Lost Cities
- Play one of the three expeditions.
- For each expedition, add card values and subtract 20. Multiply by one plus the number of investment cards played.
- Add 20 more if that expedition contains at least eight cards; an expedition not started scores zero.
- Enter the signed score for each player. After expedition three, the higher total wins.
What this scorekeeper records
The scorekeeper adds the hand values you enter; enter the signed expedition total after applying the investment multiplier and eight-card bonus.
Enter the signed expedition total after applying the investment multiplier and eight-card bonus.
Scoring example
An expedition totals 35 in card values with one investment and eight cards: (35 − 20) × 2 + 20 = 50.
Variant notes
- Each player has one score row. Score each expedition as the sum of its card values minus 20; each investment multiplies that result by one plus the number of investments.
- An expedition with at least eight cards receives an additional 20 points. An expedition not started scores zero.
- Play exactly three hands/expeditions; highest combined score wins. Enter signed expedition totals because an expedition can score below zero.
