How to score Six-Card Golf

  1. Deal six cards to each player in a 2×3 layout.
  2. Play nine hands and apply the selected draw, replacement and reveal rules.
  3. For each hand, total the cards and cancel matching vertical pairs as the chosen variant requires.
  4. Enter each final hand score. Lowest cumulative score after hand nine wins.

The scorekeeper adds the hand values you enter; enter each player’s final hand total. Card ranks and vertical pairs are not evaluated by the app.

Scoring example

A 2×3 layout totals 21 before pairs; one matching vertical pair cancels to 0. Enter the remaining score after applying the full table rule.

Variant notes

  • Each player has six cards in a 2×3 layout; vertical matching pairs may cancel under this variant. Lowest total after nine hands wins.
  • Pagat describes A=1, number cards at face value, J/Q=10 and K=0; matching vertical pairs cancel. Players calculate each hand total before entering it.
