How to score Four-Card Golf
- Deal four cards to each player in a 2×2 face-down layout.
- Play nine hands, using the same reveal and replacement rules throughout.
- After each hand, enter each player’s calculated hand score. Apply any matching-card cancellations before entering it.
- After hand nine, the lowest total wins.

Scoring example
A player’s layout totals 14 after applying the table’s pair rule. Enter 14 for that hand; the scorekeeper adds it to earlier hands.
Variant notes
- Each player keeps a 2×2 layout; after nine hands, the lowest total wins. Scores are entered manually after applying your chosen rules.
- Pagat describes A=1, number cards at face value, J/Q=10 and K=0. Matching-pair and joker rules vary by version; confirm your table’s variant.
