How to score Wizard

  1. Deal the number of cards for the current round, increasing by one each hand.
  2. Enter each player’s bid before play.
  3. After the hand, enter tricks won. The bid total may differ from available tricks, but each player’s tricks cannot exceed that hand size.
  4. Exact bid scores 20 plus 10 per bid trick. A miss loses 10 per trick of difference. Highest total wins.

What this scorekeeper records

The app calculates 20 + 10 × bid when exact, or −10 × the bid/trick difference when missed.

Enter each bid and trick count. The app applies the cited formula; players still resolve tricks and any table-specific rules.

Scoring example

Bid 3 and take 3: 20 + 30 = 50. Bid 3 and take 1: −20. The second result stays negative in the cumulative score.

Variant notes

  • The number of cards dealt increases each round. This preset supports 3–6 players, with rounds based on the 60-card deck.
  • The linked rules award 20 points plus 10 per bid trick when the bid is exact; a miss loses 10 points per trick of difference.
  • Enter bids and tricks won. The app calculates the round score and checks the trick count does not exceed the cards dealt.
