How to score Gin Rummy

  1. Play a hand until a player knocks, goes gin, or the stock ends under the selected rules.
  2. Count deadwood and apply the Pagat-described gin or undercut bonus values.
  3. Enter the awarded points for both players, including zero for the player who scores none.
  4. The first player to reach 100 wins under this selected match target.

Scoring example

If the knocker has 7 deadwood and the opponent has 21, the 14-point difference may be awarded to the knocker; apply the named gin or undercut bonus before recording.
