How to score Skip-Bo

  1. Choose the optional point-game variant and play until a player empties their stock pile.
  2. Count all cards left in the other players’ stock piles.
  3. Award the round winner 25 plus 5 per remaining stock card; record zero for everyone else.
  4. The highest total wins when a completed round brings a player to 500 or more.

Scoring example

With 12 cards left in opponents’ stock piles, the round winner scores 25 + (5 × 12) = 85 points.

Variant notes

  • This optional point game awards the round winner 25 points plus 5 for each card remaining in opponents’ stock piles; first to 500 wins.
  • You can also play the basic race to empty a stock pile without cumulative points. This preset is for the optional cumulative point game.
  • Enter the round points manually after counting stock cards. Other players enter zero; no card stacks are tracked.
