How to score Scopa

  1. Play through the deal and sort each player’s captured cards.
  2. Award points for most cards, most coins, settebello and primiera; ties in most cards or coins score neither player.
  3. Add one point per sweep (scopa) and enter each player’s deal total.
  4. The higher total reaching 11 wins after the completed deal.

Variant notes

  • This preset is for two players. Per deal, score one each for most cards, most coins/diamonds, settebello and primiera, plus one per sweep (scopa). Tied majorities award no point.
  • The first player to 11 or more cumulative points wins after the deal; a tie at the target requires another deal.
  • Settebello is the seven of coins (or diamonds), and the primiera uses the linked card scale. Compute the deal total manually.
